Home Based OT

I focus on what YOUR goals are as a family! I can conveniently bring my mobile occupational therapy clinic to your home, meet you out in the community, take you and your family on a fun-filled adventure, or explore quietly in a wilderness area. I also have an innovative, intentionally designed, multi-sensory occupational therapy clinic nestled in beautiful Modjeska Canyon, CA on two acres of orchards and gardens to discover!

Taking a strengths-based and whole-child development approach, I address fine, gross, visual, oral, feeding, and sensory motor challenges, as well as social issues related to attention, self-regulation, and stress management. I commonly see babies and toddlers (early intervention) through school-aged children who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder (including Sensory Modulation Disorder), Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, and Developmental Delays, among other diagnoses. I also work with children who might not have a diagnosis or qualify for school or medically-based services, however you as a parent feel your child would benefit from additional skills training and supports.

My approach is family-centered, child-directed, collaborative, and meaning-driven with a strong emphasis on learning skills through joint engagement and relationship. I collaborate with you as a parent along with therapists, teachers, pediatricians, and other professionals on your child's team, in order to provide the best integrated care for your family. Perhaps most importantly, I address the functional goals that are most meaningful to you, your child, and your family… and we work on them together - because healing happens in relationship!
